What happened in this short story is something very common these days, unfortunately. It's a married woman, Calixta, who has an affair with her neighbor, Alceé while a storm is going on. Her husband Bobinot was at the store with their child Bibi and had to stay there until the storm was gone because it was a safe place. Meanwhile Calixta and Alceé are having an affair and after the storm is gone everything goes back to normal. I'm totally against anytime of cheating, male or female, I believe it's very wrong specially if both of them are married and have children, like in the story. Something that caught my attention was that at the end of the story it said: "So the storm passed and everyone was happy" In a way it's true because no one but them knew what happened, so no one got hurt in that way...but still sooner or later it will al be revealed and will create chaos, besides it's allways better to be honest speacially in a relationship that way there will always be trust.
