Throughout this semester, we covered many topics and had alot of disscusions about racism, domestic violence, discrimination, contemporary marriages, infidelity, cultures, and manyothers. Not only we read and discussed about this topics, but we learned about many of thesecontemporary themes that we see and sometimes go through daily. One of my favorite discussion was the one on contemporary marriages because it is a very common and controversial topic now a days. Also we all got the chance to learn about marriages which are not considered "normal" for us, for example I did mine on an old lesbian couple, which resulted very impresive for many students. Another student did another type of marriage which was a human animal marriage, and was pretty strange for many of us. Many other types of marriages were discussed in class, but what's most important about this is that we learned about their cultures and beliefs; their reasons for marriying animals etc, and it helps us to not be so judgamental about people and how they do things. Another of my favorite activities was the movie "The Secret Life of Bees". I loved this movie so much, it had alot of themes involved and possitive messages. Although at the beginning there was alot of violence and racism, it had a possitive ending because Lily found people who really loved her and cared for her. Overall this was a very good semester filled with alot of valuable lessons which I will never forget.
